Before School Hours of Operation:

7:15am-8:30am – Only for students attending Agnes Hodge School

After Schools Hours of Operation:

3:05pm – 5:45pm

Program Guidelines

• $10.00 per day/per child for afterschool
• $9.00 per day/per child for before school
• $19.00 per day for before and afterschool
• Grade 1-Grade 6
• Program starts on Tuesday September 3^rd 2024
• When registering, please click the days needed for care (M-F, T&TH etc). We will provide invoices on a monthly basis based on the days that have been selected
• “Per Schedule” registrations will not be accepted – You will be required to select at least one day per week and it must be the same day each week (example: requires care every Monday)
• This program is run at BGC Brantford (2 Edge St)
• Agnes Hodge children will be walked from the school to the club
• We offer a bus service to the following schools
  • Edith Monture
  • Walter Gretzky
  • St. Gabriels

*Important – we do not accept JK’s or SK’s on the bus. All children being picked up on the bus must be in grades 1-6

In 2008, to address government commitments to improve child and youth health issues, the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Cultural Industries (formerly MHP), developed a “Child and Youth Health and Wellness After-School Strategy.” This strategy is focused on supporting comprehensive after-school programming in specific priority neighbourhoods where school-age residents can benefit from new or enhanced program focused on physical activity, healthy eating and nutrition, wellness and personal health education.

Program Content

To help ensure consistency and sufficient time for members to be exposed to key topics, program time is dedicated to each topic over the period of a month. Over the course of a month, the program will offer:

• 30% physical activity
• 20% healthy eating and nutrition education
• 20% wellness and personal health

Program Guidelines

*This is NOT a drop-in program

• $2.50 per day/per child
• SK-Grade 6 (JK’s will not be accepted into the program)
• All registrations are pending approval of school permits
